The Daily Edit｜ Other Products ｜Spirit Works Straight Rye Whiskey

Spirit Works Straight Rye Whiskey comes from Spirit Works Distillery in Sebastopol, in Sonoma County, California, founded by Timo and Ashby Marshall and run on a grain-to-glass philosophy: the distillery mills, mashes, ferments, distills, barrels and bottles everything on site. Spirit Works is also notable as a distillery where women have long led production, with Ashby Marshall as head distiller. The rye is made from a mash of 70% rye and 30% malted barley, with no corn, aged a minimum of four years in full-size American oak barrels and bottled at 90 proof. The high malt content gives it a rounded, almost creamy body under the rye spice. Spirit Works describes a bright nose of baked apple, coffee, cedar and leather, a palate of clove, nutmeg, honeycomb, toasted coconut and vanilla, and a warm, rounded spicy finish. It is a true small-batch craft rye with real Sonoma character, and a natural choice for a Manhattan or a rye Old Fashioned when you want to pour something made entirely in California.Buy Spirit Works Straight Rye Whiskey online with fast shipping right to your door.
