Yushan Single Malt Bourbon Cask Taiwan Whisky｜ Other Products

Yushan Single Malt Bourbon Cask Taiwan Whisky comes from Nantou Distillery in the mountains of central Taiwan, named for Yushan, the island's highest peak. This single malt is matured more than four years in hand-picked first-fill bourbon barrels and bottled at 40% ABV in a 700ml bottle, a nod to Taiwan's tropical fruit and lush vegetation. The nose is a fragrant bouquet of white florals with vanilla, honey and butter. The palate is smooth and silky, and the finish lingers with vanilla, malt, sugar cane and citrus. Taiwan's warm, humid climate accelerates maturation, giving four years the depth of many more. It sips well neat and makes a bright, fruity highball. This bottle is an affordable single malt from a distillery that is winning attention alongside Kavalan.
